Testimonials

Faire La Nouba is one of those places that gives downtown Smithville, Texas, its sparkle. Rachel has given one of downtown’s historic buildings a beautiful new life, creating a welcoming place to shop, sip, and gather. I especially love the thoughtfully chosen snacks and wines, the kind of selection I would normally expect to travel to Austin for, now available right here in Smithville. What makes Faire La Nouba especially meaningful to me is Rachel herself. As a fellow small-business owner, I have personally felt her encouragement and support. I always leave with a lovely find, a new idea, or even a new friend, and always feeling glad I wandered in.

We stopped by yesterday out of pure curiosity and what a wonderful evening it turned into! I hardly know anything about wine but a worker there gave me a whole rundown on different wines and how to taste them! We had a wonderful time and pleasant conversations with the owner too! Such a friendly establishment and wonderful workers and the owner! I will definitely be making this my go to hang out spot in Smithville, you should definitely give them a visit!:)

What a wonderful experience at Faire La Nouba! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy great company. The service was exceptional, and Rachel Tolbert truly made our visit memorable. She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. Her wine recommendations were spot on! My favorite wine was the Kandi—it was absolutely delicious and one I'll definitely be back for. If you're looking for a beautiful place to unwind with excellent wine, beautiful gifts, even a cold snack fridge with cheese & summer sausage- outstanding service, and a great atmosphere, I highly recommend Faire La Nouba. I can't wait to visit again! Smithville needed this!!! Testimonial written by Alicia Elam on this site.
